The show is presented by the Miniature Painters, Sculptors & Gravers Society of Washington, DC, and the exhibition runs from November 19 – January 6th at The Mansion of Strathmore in North Bethesda, MD.
I am very honoured to have received a First Place for Landscape award for my mini painting titled “Morning Tide”. This painting was inspired by a morning visit to the beach near Tofino BC, another glorious place to see along the beautiful west coast!
If you love small works of art, please follow this link to the Howard/Manville Gallery’s 27th Annual Invitational Small Works Show. Located in Kirkland, WA, you will find a beautiful collection of small images worked in a variety of media, and I am delighted to be a part of this year’s show. Two of my miniatures available at the show are: “West Coast Morning” and “Tranquility”. Both paintings are acrylic on paperboard.
The last tiny details have been added, the antique frames selected and the paintbrushes finally set down…and I’m so very happy to be finished!!!
“Pieces of 8” is the title of my latest miniature painting project, featuring eight tiny acrylic landscapes, for the “Symbolically 8 Exhibition” at Gallery 8 on Salt Spring Island. The show is running now through to May 8th.

Paintings, sculpture, pottery and so much more can be seen over the next several weeks during the Christmas Exhibition of Small Works. I am delighted to be a part of this show, which runs from Friday November 25th to January 3rd, and hope you will stop by to see it if you are in the area!
